NATO Assistant Secretary General for Executive Management Carlo Borghini will arrive in Bulgaria on March 11, 2025, for a two-day working visit. In Sofia, Mr. Borghini, who is also responsible for human resources in the Alliance, will hold meetings with Bulgarian institutions and participate in events and forums where he will present opportunities for working at NATO to partners and the general public, specific guidelines on the recruitment process, upcoming internship programs for students and young people, and the NATO Talent Diversity Program.
On March 11, the NATO Assistant Secretary General will deliver a lecture titled "Career Opportunities in NATO" to diplomats, experts from the public administration, and partner organizations. The event is organized by the Diplomatic Institute at the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
At an event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in partnership with the "Big Data for Smart Society" (GATE) Institute at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski," Borghini will give a public lecture to young professionals, students, and innovators, where he will present opportunities for experts from various fields to work and intern at the Alliance. He will also have the opportunity to learn about current projects of young Bulgarian scientists in the field of human resources and the implementation of artificial intelligence.
