The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maria Angelieva, today received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bulgaria, Mr. Dong-bae Kim.
The two sides agreed on the view that there is significant potential for the development of bilateral cooperation, especially in the light of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Ideas were discussed for marking the anniversary by carrying out high-level visits, holding a further round of political consultations and the next session of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation, cultural and other events.
Readiness was emphasised for the development of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
