The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Tanya Dimitrova presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Indonesia His Excellency Joko Widodo. This took place on August 8 at the presidential palace in Bogor at a joint ceremony with the ambassadors of Brunei Darussalam, Cuba, Tunisia, Russia, Papua New Guinea, the United States, Lithuania, North Macedonia and Slovenia.
Accompanied by the national anthem of each country, the ten ambassadors arrived successively at the presidential palace courtyard and, following strict protocol, they presented their credentials to the Indonesian president.
Ambassador Dimitrova assured President Widodo that Indonesia is an important partner for Bulgaria in the Southeast Asian region and our country highly appreciates the strong friendly relations between the two countries. The Bulgarian ambassador expressed his desire to work for the rapprochement of the countries in all areas of shared interest and for an even more intensive political dialogue.
