Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Anguelieva received today the copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina to the Republic of Bulgaria H. E. Alejandro Zothner Meyer.
Deputy Minister Anguelieva congratulated Ambassador Zothner Meyer on his appointment and expressed her conviction that his work in Bulgaria will contribute to building on the contacts between the two countries at all levels and will bring new impetus to the bilateral dialogue.
During the meeting, the two discussed the current state and prospects for further expansion and deepening of trade and economic relations and research and development between our two countries, as well as topical issues on the international agenda.
Maria Anguelieva also took the opportunity to express Bulgaria's gratitude for the logistical support provided by Argentina for the annual Bulgarian Antarctic expeditions.
