The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, Giorgos Gerapetritis, arrives on an official visit to Bulgaria on 27 February. The visit takes place at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel in the context of the enhanced political dialogue between the two countries.
The programme of the visit includes a bilateral meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Gabriel and plenary talks between the two delegations.
Strategic areas of mutual interest, opportunities for deepening bilateral relations, joining efforts to respond to regional and global challenges will be discussed.
At 11.30 a.m. at the Foreign Ministry, Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel and Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis will make a joint statement to the media.
