In connection with media inquiries received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the two Bulgarian citizens on board the ship Galaxy Leader, which was hijacked yesterday in the Red Sea near Yemen, we inform that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working on clarifying all the circumstances of the case in close coordination with the Bulgarian diplomatic missions in the region and with partner institutions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in contact with the families of the two Bulgarian citizens — part of the crew of the ship.
