Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel: Another 9 people — Bulgarian citizens and members of their families were successfully evacuated from Gaza today and are now safe in Cairo

‘Due to the coordinated efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the diplomatic missions of our country in Cairo, Ramallah and Tel Aviv and the Situation Centre Directorate, the evacuation of another 9 Bulgarian citizens and their family members from Gaza has been successfully completed and they are now safe in Cairo,’ the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel reported.
Follow-up actions for their repatriation to Bulgaria are forthcoming, Mariya Gabriel added. She furthered explained that the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help all Bulgarian citizens who had sought assistance would continue. On the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, mfa.bg, there is a banner giving access to constantly updated information on assistance to our compatriots in need.
