The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Gabriel held a meeting with Ambassadors of countries outside of the European Union

Within the framework of the meeting at the Boyana Residence, our first diplomat presented the priorities of the foreign politics of the Republic of Bulgaria related to our membership in the EU and NATO, as well as the active participation of the country in international institutions and initiatives.
„The cooperation at three levels - bilateral relations, regional partnership and global collaboration - is playing a key role in coping with the current challenges“, Minister Gabriel stated.
A particular attention was given to the strategic sectors of security, energy, innovation and mobility, in which the collaborative work is of an essential importance for the finding of solutions. In this regard, Minister Gabriel emphasized „These common efforts must proceed without neglecting the necessity of common international rules and shared values.“
She expressed her gratitude to the Ambassadors for their positive outlook and highlighted that she is looking forward to the next meeting.
