Deputy Minister Kostadin Kodzhabashev received the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta

Deputy The Minister of Foreign Affairs Kostadin Kodzhabashev today held talks with H.E. Ursula Hofter Zuccoli, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Rhodes and Malta to the Republic of Bulgaria.
The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of celebrating the upcoming 30th anniversary in 2024 of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and the Sovereign Order of Malta, as well as organizing a visit at the highest level.
In the framework of the meeting, Deputy Minister Kodzhabashev expressed gratitude for the long-standing humanitarian activities that the Sovereign Order of Malta has been developing on the territory of Bulgaria. Ambassador Zuccoli informed about the current charity initiatives, including donations of medical equipment and activities to help orphans.
