Minister Teodora Genchovska held talks with Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Donika Gërvalla

Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Gencovska held a meeting with Donika Gërvalla, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo. The conversation took place in the framework of the forum “EU Meets the Balkans”, organised by the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in the European Parliament (ALDE), the European Liberal Forum and the Atlantic Club, which took place on 26 April in Sofia.
The first diplomats of Bulgaria and Kosovo discussed the bilateral relations, the situation in the Western Balkans in the context of security and the European integration of the countries in the region.
Minister Genchovska underlined Bulgaria’s readiness to continue supporting Kosovo’s European perspective, including by sharing experience and expertise.
Donika Gërvalla extended an invitation to the Bulgarian foreign minister to visit Kosovo in the near future, which will be another confirmation of the two countries’ desire to deepen the political dialogue.
