Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska attended the official opening of the new club of the Ivan Mihaylov Cultural Centre in Bitola, Republic of North Macedonia. The visit was held at the kind invitation of the Ivan Mihaylov Cultural Centre.
During the visit, Minister Genchovska participated in a meeting with the representatives of the Bulgarian associations in the Republic of North Macedonia and visited the recently renovated building of the Bulgarian Consulate General in Bitola.
The visit is a continuation of the support for the Bulgarian organizations in North Macedonia, whose activities are highly valued given their contribution to the preservation of the Bulgarian cultural identity and self-awareness, the preservation of the Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage, the active civic position in the protection of human rights and in the building of a democratic, integrated and tolerant society.
