Deputy Minister Velislava Petrova received the President of the United Nations Association of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian youth delegates to the UN

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova received the President of the United Nations Association of Bulgaria Ambassador Vladimir Sotirov, the Secretary General of the organization Rosalina Nedkova and the current Bulgarian youth delegates to the UN Maria Badeva and Angel Mitkov.

Deputy Minister Petrova became acquainted in detail with the current activities of the Association and reaffirmed the long-standing institutional support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the organization. She highly praised the priorities of the Bulgarian youth delegates to the UN and the sustainable example of the programme as one of the best practices of youth empowerment worldwide.

Ambassador Vladimir Sotirov highlighted the interaction between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the organization he chairs as extremely fruitful for young people and the visibility of the United Nations in Bulgaria. For their part, the Bulgarian youth delegates to the UN said that their mandate provides an opportunity for effective representation of young people at national and international level.
