Deputy Minister Dimitrova received Swiss Ambassador Raymund Furrer

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Irena Dimitrova received the Ambassador of Switzerland to Bulgaria Raymund Furrer.
They acknowledged the mutual support for candidacies in multilateral formats and expressed readiness to intensify the relations between the two countries. Ambassador Furrer outlined education, technology and the environment as key areas for cooperation. Deputy Minister Dimitrova thanked Switzerland for its support for the newly established Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology in Sofia.
Among the topics discussed were also the consequences of the Russian aggression in Ukraine, the handling of the refugee flow and the need to develop adequate defence capabilities.
