Ambassador Milkov presented his credentials to the Secretary General of IOF

On June 1, 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the French Republic Nikolay Milkov presented to the Secretary General of the International Organisation of the Francophonie (IOF) Louise Mushiquiabo the letters by which President Rumen Radev designated him as his representative for the Francophonie. During the conversation, Ambassador Milkov conveyed wishes for health and further success to Ms. Mushikiuabo from the Bulgarian President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Bulgaria. The two interlocutors praised the cooperation between Bulgaria and the IOF and in particular the Bulgarian activity of spreading the cause of Francophonie and the development of the IOF's activities in the Balkans and Central and Eastern Europe. In the year of the 30th anniversary of its accession to the IOF, Bulgaria takes a positive balance of its active participation in the organisation and is determined to continue its efforts to implement its goals and programs, said Nikolay Milkov.
The Secretary General gratefully accepted the invitation to visit Bulgaria at a time convenient for both countries this year.
