Bulgaria finds forced landing of Ryanair plane in Minsk to be absolutely unacceptable violation of international law

Bulgaria described as absolutely unacceptable and extremely alarming the forced diversion and landing in Minsk of Ryanair's regular flight from Athens to Vilnius.
There is also a Bulgarian citizen on board the plane.
The plane has already landed in Vilnius, but without the Belarusian journalist Roman Protasevich.
The forced landing of the Ryanair plane in Minsk is a very serious violation of international norms. The Foreign Ministry called for Roman Protasevic to be allowed to continue his trip to Vilnius immediately. In Belarus, he was forcibly detained on charges of organizing riots, disorderly conduct and inciting social hatred after covering protests in Belarus for the Nexta Live channel on Instagram.
