Moldova has shown European style in its decision to restore funding to the Bulgarian community
This was said by Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov in response to the decision by the Moldovan government to restore funding to the Taraclia area.
Following efforts jointly by the President, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, Moldova’s government has restored funding to the Bulgarian community in Taraclia.
“I take this opportunity to congratulate the Government of Moldova on a European decision," Minister Mladenov said.
He said that it would enable educational institutions, hospitals and the community in general in Taraclia to function normally. At stake was the future of the autonomous institutions in the region and their activities.
