Visa application outsourcing centres to operate in Ukraine and Kazakhstan

A framework agreement on accepting applications for Bulgarian visas in foreign missions of the Republic of Bulgaria in Ukraine and Kazakhstan was signed today by Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov and outsourcing company, VFS Global.
The signing of the memorandum is consistent with the objectives set out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for visa liberalization and increasing the number of countries in which the outsourced visa application system operates. Currently, there are such centres in Russia, the Gulf states, Istanbul and Edirne, and their introduction in other cities of Turkey is forthcoming.
The use of visa application outsourcing centres enables a fast, affordable and high quality service for foreign nationals who want to visit Bulgaria, and helps to increase the number of applications for visas submitted, while expediting the process of review and issuance.
