Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yuri Sterk received an Israeli delegation led by Rodica Radian-Gordon, Deputy Director General for European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel.
During the talks, the sides discussed bilateral relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the State of Israel in various areas and the prospects for their promotion, the priorities of the forthcoming Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council, and a number of issues of shared interest.
The holding of a new, third successive joint meeting of the governments of the Republic of Bulgaria and the State of Israel, the upcoming celebration of the 75th anniversary of the saving of the Bulgarian Jews and bilateral cooperation figured high on the agenda of the session.
