Ambassadors of Greece, Qatar and Sudan presented letters of credentials to President Rosen Plevneliev

The Ambassador of Greece, Thrassyvoulos Stamatopoulos, was born on March 31 1951 in Canada.
 
He graduated from the School of Economic and Political Sciences, Aristotle University in Thessaloniki.
He has a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the London School of Economics, a master’s degree in political science and international relations from McGill University, Montreal, Canada and an MA in communication from Georgia State University, Atlanta, United States.

He was Consul of Greece in Atlanta and Consul-General in Alexandria, Egypt.

He was Director of Political Affairs in the Ministry for Macedonia and Thrace, head of the External Affairs section of the Representation at the Permanent Representation to the EU and Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Permanent Representative of Greece to NATO.

From 2004 to 2007, he was Director General for European Union Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Athens and in 2007 became Ambassador at the Permanent Representation of Greece to NATO.

He is married with two sons and a daughter.
 
The Ambassador of Qatar, Mohamed Ali Said Alnoaimi, was born in 1956. He has a bachelor’s degree in literature and education and a doctorate from Damascus University. He has worked in Qatar’s embassies in Damascus, Amman and in Beirut. He was ambassador to Lebanon and from September 2005 until now, was ambassador in Asmara, Eritrea.
He is married with two sons and two daughters.
 
The Ambassador of Sudan, Eltaib Abulgazim Fadoul Abulgazim, was born on February 17 1959. He has a BA in economics and political science from the University of Khartoum and an MA in political science. He was Second Secretary at the Embassy of Sudan in Jordan, First Secretary at the Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry, First Secretary at the Embassy in Kenya, Counsellor at the Embassy in Berlin, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Embassy in Oslo, Deputy Director in the Department of International Economic Co-operation and the Department of Arab Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2010-2011 he was Deputy Head of Mission of Sudan in Egypt.

He is married and has four children.
