111 polling stations abroad are open
23 October 2011 NewsAt all polling stations in Asia, the Middle East, Turkey and Europe, Election Day started normally. By 9am, 819 Bulgarian citizens had voted, at 111 voting sections. In four sections in Spain (Candia, Collado Villalba, Taffala and Tarragona) voting has not yet started because of a lack of a quorum. Precinct Election Commission members appointed by political parties had not arrived yet. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has proposed alternates, to be appointed by decision of the Central Election Commission.
