Bulgaria strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Kuwait and Tunisia
26 June 2015 News
We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks of 26 June at Imam al-Sadeq Mosque in Kuwait and at a Tunisian hotel near Sousse, which resulted in total of over 40 dead and dozens of injured during Friday prayers in the Kuwaiti capital and as a result of the terrorist attack at the Tunisian resort center.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and the injured and express our deepest discontent from the used aggression. There are no goals or policies that can justify the killing of innocent people.
We hope that civil societies in the Middle East and North African countries will offer resistance and counter the spread of terrorist and radical philosophy by groups such as Islamic State (IS) and Al-Qaeda.
We express our solidarity with the Kuwaiti and Tunisian people. We urge all participants in the political processes in the countries of the region to utilize all available resources in the name of restoring stability and security in all conflict zones and sources of tension.
