Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria and Brazil
15 March 2013 Diplomatic CalendarOn March 15 2013, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sofia, political consultations were held between the Foreign Ministries of Bulgaria and Brazil. The Bulgarian delegation was headed by Mrs Uliyana Bogdanska, Director-General for Political Affairs, and the Brazilian delegation was headed by Mrs Vera Machado, Deputy General Secretary for Political Affairs.
The two delegations discussed co-operation within the framework of international organisations – the World Trade Organization, the United Nations and others, as well as the state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations. The improved exchange of information on current foreign policy issues was noted with satisfaction, as was the marked increase in recent years in trade between Bulgaria and Brazil.
