Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria and Poland

26 February 2013 Diplomatic Calendar

The main topic of consultations held on February 26 2013 between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria and Poland was the fulfilling of the European perspectives of the countries of the Western Balkans and the interaction between Bulgaria and Poland in carrying out specific projects that promote this process.

The Bulgarian delegation was led by Hristo Georgiev, Director of the European States Directorate, while the Polish delegation was headed by Anna Sohanska, Deputy Director of the Department for European Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. The talks were attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Bulgaria, Leszek Hensel.

The consultations were part of the active interaction between the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry and the countries of the Visegrad Four, an expression of which was the participation of Minister Nickolay Mladenov in the ministerial meeting in Visegrad Plus format in Warsaw in October 2012, dedicated to the Western Balkans.
