To the attention of the Bulgarian citizens travelling to Ukraine
13 February 2014The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs the Bulgarian citizens that a decision of the Council of Ministers of Ukraine sets a requirement for the possession of obligatory funds by foreign citizens entering the country. The requirement applies both to those who will visit Ukraine for the purpose of intended stay and those transiting through the country.
The minimum amount that a foreigner must have for a one-day stay in the country is approximately 70 Euros.
An additional requirement is the foreigner to possess funds for the planned time of stay + 5 days, i.e. with a planned stay of two days the foreigner must be able to prove the possession of funds for 2 +5 days - a total of 7 days.

We strongly recommend citizens to register with the Bulgarian diplomatic missions in Ukraine by phone or email. Pre-registration is essential for timely response .
