Warning: An attack in India

On the 7th of December 2010 in the city of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, a terrorist attack was carried out, causing the death of a 2 years old Indian child, and 37 people were injured, including foreigners. Responsibility for the attack was claimed by the terrorist organization „Indian Mujahideen”.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises the Bulgarian citizens, who are there or are planning to visit India, to avoid visiting (or to increase their vigilance) religious temples or places that have a sacred meaning.
According to the Bulgarian Embassy in New Delhi during the Varanasi blasts there were no Bulgarian citizens injured.
