The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria would like to confirm that it has refused to grant clearance to Russian military transport aircrafts to fly through the Bulgarian airspace on a route from the Russian Federation to Syria in the period 1-24 September 2015.

Daniel Mitov: The European integration of the Western Balkans is a major priority for Bulgaria

I believe that all Western Balkan countries belong in a united and strong Europe, and Bulgaria is ready to support the efforts of the Republic of Macedonia to fulfill the conditions for integration into the EU and NATO.
