MFA marks the Earth Day

Young trees and ornamental shrubs were planted today by MFA employees in the courtyard of the institution. The event is dedicated to the forthcoming Earth Day, celebrated on 22 April.
Among the new plants in the MFA’s green fund are the trees maple, catalpa, Japanese ornamental cherry, ornamental shrubs cotinus and magnolias. The leadership of the ministry and many employees took part in the planting.
Today's initiative is part of a series of "green" events , organized by the Foreign Ministry to celebrate the Earth Day. The MFA will also participate in the "Let's clean Bulgaria in One Day" campaign on 26 April.
