Ambassador Gaytandjiev presented his credentials to the President of Paraguay

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Buenos Aires, Maxim Gaytandjiev, who is accredited also for the Republic of Paraguay, presented his credentials to the President Horacio Cartes. The official ceremony took place on 10 April 2014.
After the ceremony, attended by eleven newly appointed ambassadors, all based outside the capital Asunción, there was a joint meeting of the ambassadors and the Head of State. The bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Paraguay were defined as cordial and friendly.
During a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, Mr Eladio Loizaga, whom were handed copies of the credentials, the possibilities of further development of the bilateral dialogue in the political, trade and economic, and cultural areas were discussed.
