Minister Vigenin met with Prince Edward, Duke of Kent

Minister Kristian Vigenin met today with His Royal Highness Prince Edward, Duke of Kent. Prince Edward is paying a visit to Bulgaria to honour centenary of First World War at the invitation of the Bulgarian Head of State.
Minister Vigenin and the Duke of Kent pointed out the excellent state of the bilateral relations and the active political dialogue between Bulgaria and the UK. Affirmation of this are the visits this year to London of the Foreign Minister and the President, including the audience of the Head of State by Her Britannic Majesty Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Prince Edward emphasizedthat the two countries are entering a new stage of constructive relations. As promising areas of cooperation, he outlined the areas of trade, economy, tourism, energy and others. It was noted that the partnership between Bulgaria and the UK within the framework of EU and NATO is an example of good cooperation.
