Fifth ski race "Diplomats and Friends" was held in Bansko

The Ambassador of the Czech Republic H.E. Pavel Vacek won the transitional Cup of the Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin in the fifth ski race "Diplomats and Friends", which was held today in Bansko.
Ambassador Vacek triumphed in the category diplomats over 50 years and his time was the fastest of all. Second in this category finished the German Ambassador H.E. Matthias Höpfner, and in the category over 55 first is the Ambassador of Austria H.E. Gerhard Reiweger.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Zinaida Zlatanova ranked third in her category, finishing the run for 38.06 seconds. Winner in the category ladies from the diplomatic corps is Paula Hophner from the German Embassy and second is Josephina Peparkova from the Embassy of the Czech Republic. In the race on the ski track " Shiligarnika", organized by the Bulgarian Ski Federation, Bansko Municipality and "Ulen" AD, participated more than 60 ambassadors and diplomats from foreign missions accredited to Bulgaria, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other friends and sports lovers.
By regulation all participated in two giant slalom races, and for the final ranking the best time from both races counted. The competitors were divided into several categories and for another year female diplomats and children participated in the race.
