Svilen Bozhanov presented his credentials

The head of the Diplomatic Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria in Ramallah, Svilen Bozhanov, presented his credentials to the President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas.
At the meeting held after the ceremony, the President stressed on the traditionally good relations with Bulgaria and the support of our country for training Palestinian youth in Bulgarian schools. He also expressed hope that we will work together towards the development and expansion of our bilateral relations in all fields. Abbas noted that many Bulgarian graduates occupy key positions in Palestine, including on Minister’s level.
Svilen Bozhanov focused on some options for developing the bilateral ties, particularly in the areas of construction, agriculture, tourism and education. The diplomat stressed that the agreements in Bulgaria during the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs have a solid base in this direction by setting up a joint inter-ministerial committee and conducting a business forum.
