Deputy Minister Tasheva Meets with Chinese Ambassador Dai Qingli

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivanka Tasheva held a protocol meeting with Dai Qingli, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Bulgaria.
During the meeting, the participants outlined the priority areas for cooperation and the further development of the bilateral partnership, as well as concrete steps to strengthen cooperation within the framework of European Union-China relations.
Both sides emphasised the importance of maintaining a constructive and open dialogue and highlighted the role of the newly established regular EU-China Trade and Investment Consultation Mechanism.
The discussions also covered issues relating to the global security agenda and the need to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
