Peter Pomerantsev to Minister Neynski: Bulgaria and Eastern Europe will have an increasingly leading role

Within the framework of the informal meeting of the foreign ministers of the Member States of the EU held in Kyiv, Minister Nadezhda Neynski met with writer and journalist Peter Pomerantsev, author of the international bestseller Nothing Is True and Everything Is Possible. He studies Russian propaganda and its influence and believes that in the future the countries of Eastern Europe will play an increasingly significant role. On the one hand, they have significant experience in dealing with hybrid threats coming from Russia, and on the other, they possess substantial, still unrealized potential in the sphere of culture and spirituality.
For her part, Minister Nadezhda Neynski acquainted Pomerantsev with the government’s initiatives to counter propaganda and hybrid threats, and the two agreed on the need for a common European, supranational approach.
