NATO to Conduct Crisis Management Exercise (CMX25) with the Participation of All Member States from March 13-18
13 March 2025 News
From March 13-18, 2025, our country will participate in NATO's planned political-military crisis management exercise CMX25. Since 1992, this is the 24th consecutive exercise in the CMX series.
As with previous exercises in this series, CMX25 aims to train procedures for consultations and decision-making at a strategic political-military level, related to the implementation of the Strategic Concept and in support of the Alliance's three core tasks. The exercise will involve civilian and military personnel from the capitals of member states, NATO Headquarters, and the two strategic commands. As with previous exercises, no military forces will be deployed.
The exercise will include the use of NATO response procedures and mechanisms in a complex civil-military scenario under a highly hybrid environment.
CMX25 will also include testing the procedures for interaction between NATO and European Union bodies.
There are no media events planned during the CMX25 exercise.
