Mariya Gabriel: Political consultations between Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be a step forward in cooperation between the two countries

Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.M. Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, held talks just weeks after Mariya Gabriel’s working visit to Riyadh.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister thanked for the successful visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Economic cooperation and coordination of international efforts for stability and security were at the centre of the talks.
The parties also discussed the possibilities of expanding the bilateral partnership in a number of areas, including energy, economy, investment, education, culture and innovation. The two ministers also paid special attention to the latest developments in the Middle East.
‘Political consultations between the two countries are coming soon. They will be another opportunity for joint initiatives of common interest’, Mariya Gabriel said.
