The Prime Minister Acad. Nikolay Denkov and Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel were named ‘Politicians of the Year 2023’

Prime Minister Acad. Nikolay Denkov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel received today the award of the Darik Radio team ‘Politicians of the Year 2023’. The media annually awards the diploma to the leaders who have the greatest impact on the development of political life in Bulgaria in the past year.
‘The most valuable thing I see in this award is that it has two names on it. We need to change the political culture, to show that results are obtained through dialogue, searching for common solutions and arguments. We are trying to set a personal example in this regard,’ Prime Minister Acad. Denkov said. The Prime Minister pointed out the serious successes for Bulgaria that the government has managed to realise so far, thanks to its teamwork. For acad. Denkov this is a first award as a politician, after he has been honoured with a number of prestigious awards for his achievements in his scientific career.
‘This award is a recognition and a responsibility for me. With acad. Denkov we show how with dialogue and cooperation, by defending a vision of a strong, active and trusted Bulgaria, we can move forward. It is also a responsibility to continue to give security, stability, consistency and to be purposeful in our actions so that the people in Bulgaria and our partners feel that they can trust us and that what is happening in the country is for the people and gives hope for the future’, Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel said.
The diploma of the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister was presented by the Executive Director of Darik Radio Hristo Hristov.
