Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel is on a working visit to Germany and Austria

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel is on a two-day working visit to Germany and Austria.

On 16 November in Berlin, Mariya Gabriel will meet German  Minister for Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock. A joint press conference will be given after the meeting.

In the course of the visit to Germany, Deputy Prime Minister Gabriel is also scheduled to meet with Friedrich Merz, Chair of the CDU and the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the Bundestag and Alexander Dobrindt, Deputy Chair of the CDU/CSU Group, as well as to visit the Bulgarian Cultural Institute.

The joint press conference of Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel and Annalena Baerbock will be broadcast live on the X channel of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs (in German: @AuswaertigesAmt and in English: @GermanyDiplo), from 14:00 EET.

On 17 November, Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel will be in Vienna, where she will meet the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg.

A joint press conference is planned after the meeting.

In the Austrian capital, Mariya Gabriel will also hold meetings with the first President of the Austrian National Council, Wolfgang Sobotka, and with the Vice President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce-Vienna Kasia Greco.
