The situation in the State of Israel remains extremely tense, therefore we advise Bulgarian citizens to refrain from traveling to Israel.
Once again, we urge Bulgarian citizens who are in the country to register at the embassy, whether they wish to leave Israel immediately or not.
We would like to remind you that the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tel Aviv updates daily a database with the names of Bulgarian citizens who are looking for a way to leave Israel. For the time being, there is no flight planned that the Bulgarian state will send specifically to remove Bulgarian citizens from Israel. In this regard, we advise our compatriots who wish to leave the country to seek the opportunity to do so through the commercial flights that continue to operate from Ben Gurion Airport to various points in Europe, including Bulgaria. At present, Israel can also be left through the port of Haifa.
In case the Bulgarian state arranges a new flight for Bulgarian citizens, priority for notification will continue to be given to short-term residents, medical and humanitarian cases, mothers with young children and people living in very risky regions (southern parts of Israel).
We ask the citizens, in this extremely difficult situation, to remain calm and correctly inform about their status in Israel and the reasons for staying in the country.
The MFA and the Embassy in Tel Aviv are available to provide further assistance as required, within their capabilities.
