With regard to the current situation in Israel, we would like to remind the Bulgarian citizens that it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions of the Israeli authorities, which are constantly updated and take into account the specificities of the different regions of the country.
In response to the numerous inquiries from Bulgarian citizens, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Israel informs about the following travel options from Israel to the Republic of Bulgaria:
- through airlines continuing to operate flights from Ben Gurion International Airport - direct and connecting
- using the Allenby crossing with Jordan, where we recommend travelling without crossing into the Palestinian territories, and regular direct flights from Queen Alia International Airport in Amman
- using a sea link from the Port of Haifa.
Please note that the above opportunities are not organised or coordinated by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria.
In view of the situation, the Consular Service of the Bulgarian Embassy in Tel Aviv is suspending its work on regular matters such as citizenship documents and notary services (except for emergency ones). The Consular Service remains at the disposal of citizens on issues such as the current situation, the issuance of temporary passports, etc.
