Deputy Minister Elena Shekerletova took part in an event on the occasion of the official opening of the Bulgarian-Kosovo Chamber of Commerce

On September 27, 2023, in the Intercontinental Hotel in Sofia, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Elena Shekerletova, took part in the official opening of the Bulgarian-Kosovo Chamber of Commerce. During the ceremony, Deputy Minister Shekerletova welcomed the initiative on behalf of Mrs. Maria Gabriel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and on her own behalf.
The event was opened by Mr. Tomislav Tsolov, Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian-Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, who presented a special certificate to the first company that became a member of the newly formed Chamber of Commerce.
Official guests at the event were representatives of the diplomatic corps, Bulgarian state institutions, citizens and business representatives from the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Bulgaria. Mr. Rosen Plevneliev, former President of the Republic of Bulgaria and Dr. Solomon Passy, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, took part in the event.
On the Kosovo side were present Ms. Lisa Gashi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Mentor Arifaj, Deputy Minister of Industry, Enterprise and Trade of the Republic of Kosovo and Mr. Delfin Plana, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Bulgaria. On the occasion of the end of his term of office and in appreciation of his outstanding contribution to the development and deepening of bilateral relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Kosovo, Deputy Minister Elena Shekerletova presented Mr. Delfin Plana with the "Golden Laurel Branch" badge of honour of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
