The second day of the NATO Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Brussels is over

The second day of the NATO Foreign Ministers' Meeting has ended. In the first session of the day, Ministers provided important guidance in preparation for the upcoming Alliance Summit in Vilnius in July. Among the main topics were practical and political support for Ukraine, challenges emanating from the South, including the growing influence of Russia and China, and a renewed commitment to defence investment.

The closing session was attended by the EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, J. Borel and the partner countries from the Indo-Pacific region — Japan, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea and Australia. The global implications of Russia's war against Ukraine, cybersecurity and climate change were discussed. The desire for joint efforts to address global challenges and uphold the international legal order was shared.

On the margins of the NATO Foreign Ministers' Meeting, Minister Milkov held meetings with the the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the US Secretary of State and the UK Foreign Secretary.
