27 January 2013 News

The highest voter turnout abroad  in the national referendum by 3pm Bulgarian time was in Brussels, where 205 citizens voted. In London, 161 voted and 152 voted in Madrid.

Voter turnout was lowest in Buenos Aires, where however, because of the time difference, polls opened at 11am Bulgarian time.

The total number of Bulgarian citizens abroad who had voted by 3pm was 2256.

The final polling station for the referendum to open was in Los Angeles, at 4pm.
