Ambassador Chavdar Nikolov presented his credentials to Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff

The Republic of Bulgaria’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federative Republic of Brazil, Chavdar Nikolov, presented his credentials to President Dilma Rousseff on January 23 2013.

The ceremony was attended by Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota, the Special Adviser to the President on International Affairs, Professor Marco Aurélio Garcia, and the Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ruy Nunes Pinto Nogueira.

In talks after the ceremony, opportunities to deepen Brazilian –Bulgarian relations and the development of bilateral co-operation in all fields were discussed. President Rousseff underlined her Bulgarian ancestry and said that she personally would extend to the Ambassador her full co-operation and support in the fulfillment of his mission.
