The Head of the Political Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Elena Kireva welcomed the Interim Head of the Embassy of Kosovo in Sofia Delfin Pllana. Opportunities for deepening bilateral political dialogue and cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture and sport were discussed.
The Bulgarian side underlined that it attaches great importance to the relations with Kosovo and appreciates the existing dialogue, which is developing in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual trust. The two sides agreed that it is important to strengthen efforts to expand economic ties, as there is a lot of potential in this regard.
Among the topics discussed were also the refugee flow from Ukraine, security in the region and the European integration of the Western Balkan countries.
As a suitable opportunity to strengthen cooperation, Delfin Pllana expressed Kosovo’s wish to organize joint exhibitions to be realized with the assistance of the State Institute for Culture of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
