Minister Teodora Genchovska: Bulgaria supports the European perspective of Ukraine

Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska took part in an extraordinary meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels with the only topic on the agenda being the Russian military aggression against Ukraine. Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, UK Secretary of State Elizabeth Truss, Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg took special part in the Council's work.
The participants in the meeting unanimously condemned the Russian military actions, which are directed not only against Ukraine, but also against the entire democratic international community.
The EU will continue its strong support for Ukraine - political, humanitarian and military. The EU and the Member States will remain firm in their actions. Russia's isolation in international forums will continue.
