The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Irena Dimitrova received the Ambassador of Germany to Bulgaria Christoph Eichhorn. Among the highlights of the conversation were the united response of NATO and the EU to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the excellent bilateral relations, as well as the potential for the development of cooperation in the field of economy and investment.
Germany is a leading trade and investment partner of Bulgaria, with which we have excellent bilateral relations, said Deputy Minister Dimitrova. She pointed out that our country continues to encourage the interest of German companies in new investments in our country.
Ambassador Eichhorn confirmed Germany's support for promoting our country as a reliable and successful destination for foreign investment, as well as for exploiting the full potential of the Bulgarian economy, especially in the field of innovation and the IT sector.
