The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova received the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bulgaria Fahad Ali Abdulrahim Al-Mushiiri.
During the meeting, mutual interest was expressed in strengthening bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in key areas such as energy, agriculture, technology, economy and education. Bulgaria highly appreciates the excellent bilateral dialogue and wishes to maintain the partnership with Qatar at the highest level, and for this purpose it is important to outline concrete steps for future cooperation, said Deputy Minister Petrova.
Among the topics of discussion there were issues related to the holding of summits in the future, as well as cooperation between the two countries within international organizations.
Deputy Minister Petrova congratulated the State of Qatar on the progress of the preparatory activities for the organization and holding of the upcoming World Cup, which the country will host.
