Deputy Minister Todor Churov receives copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Qatar

Deputy Foreign Minister Todor Churov received copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Qatar to Bulgaria Fahad Ibrahim Ali Abdulrahim Al-Mushiri.

During the conversation, Bulgaria's readiness was expressed for building sustainable and multi-layered cooperation with Qatar, which would cover key areas of mutual interest.

Among the topics of the meeting were the dynamic development of our bilateral relations, the potential for development of economic relations, as well as cooperation in the field of high technologies, investments and defense. Bulgaria appreciates the excellent bilateral relations and hopes that in the future we will have opportunities to enrich the cooperation between Qatar and Bulgaria in areas such as education, agriculture and technology.

Deputy Minister Churov wished the newly appointed ambassador success in fulfilling his mission and congratulated him on Qatar's work in preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Ambassador Al-Mushiri, for his part, expressed hope to see the Bulgarian national football team on the field.
