Deputy Minister Alexandrov received copies of the credentials of the new Ambassador of Republic of Korea

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Rumen Alexandrov accepted copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Bulgaria, Li Ho-shik.
In the conversation with Ambassador Li, the Deputy Minister stressed that the further development of relations and political dialogue with the Republic of Korea, which is an important partner for both Bulgaria and the European Union, is one of the priorities of our country in Asia.
Among the topics of the meeting were the potential for development of trade and economic relations, cooperation in the field of education and culture, as well as the opportunities for holding high-level meetings in the future. "We appreciate the expansion of cultural and educational cooperation and attach great importance to the study of the Bulgarian language at Hankuk University in Seoul," said Deputy Minister Alexandrov. The two interlocutors also discussed the forthcoming UN Peace Conference in December 2021, which will be hosted by Republic of Korea.
Deputy Minister Alexandrov wished success to the Ambassador and assured him that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Bulgaria is ready to assist in the development of relations in all areas and issues of common interest.
