Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva congratulated the new Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Dr Karin Kneissl.
“I had an excellent working relationship with your predecessor, Mr Sebastian Kurz, who was sworn in today as Federal Chancellor. I am convinced that our two ministries will continue their close cooperation,” Deputy Prime Minister Zaharieva stressed in her cable.
“Assuming the Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2018, Bulgaria and Austria will continue to work together for building a broad consensus on key topics, for the attainment of the common goals and for the successful advancement of the European project.”
